Crystal Mountain offers something for everyone— including 59 ski trails for downhill skiers, xc ski trails, fat tire snow biking, a Spa & Wellness center, an indoor pool, and several restaurants.

Please note that the wedding will take place just outside of the Kinlochen, and the dinner reception will take place at the Crystal Center. The most convenient lodging options are located between the two buildings, though there are beautiful cottages available for rent nearby too. Everything in the village core is within a short walk.

ALTERNATIVE LODGING OPTIONS

Additional hotels include the Baymont by Wyndham hotel as well as some mom and pop inns located 20 minutes away in Beulah, Michigan, just off of Crystal Lake. There are also several airbnb rentals available near Crystal Mountain with reasonable rates.

DINING

We highly recommend enjoying some fine dining at The Thistle in Kinlochen. For a bar-grill atmosphere with an entertaining view of the slopes, head over to The Vista Lounge. Family-friendly dining can be enjoyed at the Clipper Cafe and the Waffle Cabin. Off-site and a little ways down the road you’ll find St. Ambrose Cellars, a meadery with some good eats. The famous Iron Fish Distillery is also just a few miles away.

NEARBY ATTRACTIONS

Crystal Mountain is 45 minutes away from Traverse City, where you’ll find plenty of shops and restaurants as well as a view of Grand Traverse Bay.

If you’d like a drive out to a small shop celebrating our Polish heritage, check out the Polish Art Center located in the sleepy town of Cedar about 45 minutes away. (They have an online shop too!)

About 45 minutes away you’ll find Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore (though it will be quite chilly this time of year!) While you’re there stop into Glen Arbor just 5 minutes down the road to shop at Cherry Republic and grab some coffee from Leelanau Roasting Company.

NEAREST AIRPORT

The nearest airport is Cherry Capitol Airport (TVC) located in Traverse City, MI. It is a 45 minute drive to Crystal Mountain.
